Our Lady of Angels Parish, Brooklyn
Congratulations to the young men and women of our parish who received the Sacrament of Confirmation this past Thursday with Bishop Sanchez. It was a beautiful celebration of the coming of the Holy Spirit upon them. I am very proud of them and I want to assure them, as well as their parents and sponsors, of my prayers.
On Sunday, November 1st., I will be conducting Bible Study in the Auditorium. Since we are in the yellow zone as of now, we need to limit it to no more than 25 people. If you are interested in attending Bible Study at 1:15pm on November 1st., please call and leave your name at the rectory.
Thanks to your support we were able to collect $342 for the Holy Land. I thank you for your continued generosity.
Our Thanksgiving food drive for the families in our parish who are in need is going very well. If you are able to make a $100 donation to feed a family this Thanksgiving, please send a check marked “Thanksgiving Drive” to the rectory or drop it in the collection basket on Sunday. We are planning to identify families in need this Thanksgiving. Once we identify families, we will give them a $100 food card from Key Food so they can purchase their Thanksgiving meal. If you know of any family in need, please let us know by calling the rectory.
Thanks for your help with this!!
Thanks for your support!
